I'm Christian, Lutheran, specifically a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.  My past WA church went through an extensive ministerial transition phase for 3 years.  Once I decided for certain that it was time to move to California I have been attending the Episcopal church that my Godchildren (and their parents who are my good friends) attend.  It was hard not to get discouraged at my home church with everything so up in the air.  For a while I participated in and eventually helped coordinate our 20s & 30s group, but that fizzled out as everyone seems too busy.  Similarly, for a while I participated in a Small Group Task Force, but that ended up being tabled during the transition.  It seems they have settled into a new routine, but I look forward to finding a new community to share my faith with in my new area - hopefully one with choirs and maybe a singles group and a women's bible study.  Please be praying for me and my future church home.  Also please pray for any churches undergoing transition, as it can be an exciting time and also a difficult time for the whole congregation.
